Waddesdon Manor is still family owned and was built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1874 and 1885. The primary use was to display his outstanding collection of arts and to entertain the fashionable world.

The tour departs London at 8.45am with a pick up from Oxford at 10:00am, relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to the breath taking 300-year-old estate of Blenheim Palace.

Lunch Stop
After driving through Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire countryside you will stop at a English village pub on the way to Waddesdon Manor. Have a real ale and beer battered fish and chips perhaps?
Waddesdon Manor
After lunch and a short drive we will visit Waddesdon Manor. This stunning house was originally built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild (1839-1898) as country retreat built in the style of a Loire châteaux and was a place to entertain his guests.
The house tour includes rooms arranged as they would have been and a visit to the Wine Cellars containing more than 10,000 bottles of wine.
Your are expected to return to London at approximately 6.30pm.
